Once the crossovers were complete and installed, finishing the speakers was relatively straightforward.
Drill holes for the binding posts, install and solder. Soldier the driver hookups and screw in the drivers. Install the bass ports.
This design calls for foam lined cabinets. It was relatively easy to cut sections of foam to line the interior of the cabinet. I used an electric knife to cut the foam into pieces. Then it was easy to press-fit inside the cabinet. If the press-fit was loose, a few dots of hot glue held the foam in place.
One the foam was in, it was just a matter of buttoning up the cabinets and hooking them up. And, yes, they do sound great. Solid from the baseline all the way up to the crash of cymbals. You really have to hear them.
